Privacy Policy

Who we are

THE SHIFT is operated by the School of Sexual Wellness ("we", "us"). We serve members internationally and aim to meet the standards of the major privacy regimes that apply to them, including the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the UK and EU GDPR, and applicable US state privacy laws. Your legal adviser should confirm which regime governs the entity you trade under and name it here.

What we collect

Name and email address when you download a guide or join our list; billing and purchase details when you buy a product or program (processed by our payment providers, we do not store card numbers); information you voluntarily share in program materials, forms or community spaces, which may include health-related information you choose to provide; and standard website analytics data.

Why we collect it

To deliver the products, programs and content you request; to send you the emails you signed up for, which you can unsubscribe from at any time using the link in every email; to operate our community; and to improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us operate, including Kajabi (courses, email and checkout), Netlify (website hosting) and Shopify (product orders). Some providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We only share what is necessary for them to provide their service.

Sensitive information

Because of the nature of our work, information you share with us may reveal details about your health or sexuality. We treat all such information as sensitive, restrict access to it, and never use it for marketing without your explicit consent. Community spaces are private; please share only what you are comfortable sharing.

Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing hello@schoolofsexualwellness.com. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
